One extended journey through the Australian Coast is being halted days after the death of an senior female passenger who was abandoned by the cruise liner on a isolated coastal location.

The elderly woman had been walking on Lizard Island with fellow passengers from the Coral Adventurer, but parted ways from the excursion for a rest. The ship left without her and returned several hours later after the personnel realised the passenger was not present.
